Dear Manning Families,
Happy New Year and welcome to 2025! This time of year is always energizing as we return from a well-deserved break, refreshed and ready to embrace a new semester together. The beginning of each semester offers a wonderful opportunity for a fresh start—a time to celebrate our achievements, reflect on areas for growth, and set goals for the months ahead. I am incredibly proud of the hard work our students put into the first semester and am excited to see all that 2025 has in store for our Manning community!
Congratulations to Avery Duguid, one of our talented eighth-grade students, for representing Manning in the PTA Reflections program! Avery’s visual art entry has been selected to advance to the Colorado PTA (COPTA) level in the middle school visual arts category. Reflections is a prestigious National PTA program celebrating excellence in the arts. Fantastic job, Avery!
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to explore our new website, which is now live. It provides the same valuable information as before but with improved navigation to key school and district resources.
As we embark on this new semester, please take a moment to review our family calendar, which highlights all the fantastic events happening this spring at Manning.
As we navigate through the cold and flu season, I’d like to share the How Sick is Too Sick resource with you again. Please take a moment to review it as you consider whether your student is well enough to attend school when feeling unwell. Thank you for helping us keep our community healthy!
I am deeply grateful for our Manning community and am looking forward to another successful semester together. Just a friendly reminder that school resumes on Tuesday, January 7.
In partnership,
Matt
