Dear Manning Families,

Welcome to October! As we move further into the semester, I encourage you to review our family calendar, which highlights all of the exciting events happening this fall.

Here are a few key upcoming dates:

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Conferences will take place this week on Wednesday, October 7, and Thursday, October 8, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Both evenings will be drop-in style, though teachers may also request and schedule individual conferences as needed.

Fall Break
Please remember there will be no school on Monday, October 12, and Tuesday, October 13. We hope you enjoy the extended weekend with family and friends! Classes will resume on Wednesday, October 14.

Manning PTA
Our Manning PTA is an important part of our community, and we truly appreciate their support. I would like to remind our community about opportunities to get involved and support PTA.

One of the easiest ways you can get involved in our community and your student's education is by joining Manning PTA.

Manning PTA is also working hard on planning the annual Lucky Mustangs Casino Night and Silent Auction. This is PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year and a fun community night. The event is on Friday, November 6 at Applewood Golf Course, and we hope you will come. Buy your early-bird tickets before October 15th. In addition, PTA is accepting donations to the Silent Auction. You can also donate to the Silent Auction by donating to your student's Advisement class basket. Look in the Manning Minute to learn about other ways you can support the event and PTA.

Please direct any questions to manningmiddlepta@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support of our amazing PTA!

In Partnership,

Matt
