Dear Manning Families,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are feeling ready for the final nine days of the school year! These last two weeks will go by quickly as we celebrate our accomplishments and gear up for summer break. That said, there's still important learning ahead, and I’m looking forward to spending this meaningful time with our amazing Mustangs.
I’d like to take a moment to congratulate the cast and crew of Alice in Wonderland for their outstanding performances under the direction of Mrs. Mendez. As always, our students impressed us with their talent and hard work — we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them!
A quick reminder: our final Parent Partnership Meeting of the year is this Thursday, May 15th at 5:00 p.m. During the meeting, we’ll review our end of year academic data, go over the results of our Family-School Partnership Survey, and provide an update on the 2025–2026 budget. You can view the agenda here.
As we near the end of the year, please help us remind students about the importance of meeting behavior expectations. Participation in end-of-year activities — including the 8th Grade Picnic and the 6th/7th Grade Celebration Day — depends on students making positive choices. We hope that all students will be able to enjoy these fun events, and we appreciate your support in reinforcing this message at home.
Finally, as we approach the last week of school, please visit our website for a summary of the last week of school schedule and details regarding 8th Grade Continuation.
In partnership,
Matt
