Dear Manning Families,

It has been wonderful welcoming our students back into the building as we begin a new and exciting semester together!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback through our community budget survey in December. Your input is incredibly valuable as we review and adjust our budget each spring to best support our students. If you are interested in reviewing the survey feedback, you can access it here. I will continue to keep families informed as we move through the budget planning process this spring.

If you would like to learn more, I encourage you to join us for our next Parent Partnership meeting on Thursday, January 29, beginning at 5:00 p.m. During this meeting, we will take a deeper dive into our mid-year student achievement data and walk through the budget planning process for the 2025–2026 school year. We truly value the feedback of all our stakeholders as we work to best serve our community. Please take a moment to review the letter regarding our upcoming surveys, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Students have access to the survey link and will be completing the survey this month.

While we have not experienced much winter weather yet, spring can still bring unexpected delays or closures. Please take a moment to review our bell schedule, including the two-hour delay schedule. In the event of a two-hour delay, students may begin entering the building at 10:15 a.m. On these days, there will be no access or advisement periods, and breakfast will not be served.

Lastly, there will be no school next Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 20.
